First Officer Bob Kurtz promoted to the rank of "Captain" at Ascension's 15th Anniversary Dinner in 2005.

June 1990 - First Security Detail for “Dreamworks”; Guest: Van Williams (The Green Hornet)

August 1990 - Commander J. David Abrahamson steps down as commanding officer. LtCmdr Kevin Miles assumes position.

November 3-4, 1990 - Security Detail @ Dreamworks Con; Guest: Mark Lenard

November 10-11, 1990 - Security Detail @ Dreamworks Con; Guest: Wil Wheaton

November 11, 1990 - Shuttlecraft Ascension becomes USS Ascension - A newly commissioned chapter of Starfleet

1991

August 1991 - 1st Ascension Region 7 Picnic @ Beltzville State Park

November 16, 1991 - Ascension Con I @ Lehigh County Community College - Guest of Honor: Nichelle Nichols

December 1991 - Hosted the premier of Star Trek VI: The Undiscovered Country @ The Eric Theater in Allentown, PA

1992

March 1992 - We reach 132 in membership.

August 1992 - 2nd Annual Region 7 Picnic @ Beltzville - 70 people attended

August 1993 - 3rd Annual Ascension Region 7 Picnic @ Beltzville - 125 people attended

September 1993 - We reach 175 in membership (3 shuttles and 1 Away Team)

September 16, 1993 - Ascension Con II @ LCCC - Jimmy Doohan, Robert O’ Reilly, Tony Todd, Marc Okrand

Jameson Ivor Frakes born to Jonathan Frakes & Genie Francis.

1997

January 1, 1997 - Captain Kevin Miles retires. Jim Pugliese becomes Commanding Officer of the Ascension and is promoted to rank of "Captain".

Daniel Frakes, brother of Jonathan Frakes, dies of pancreatic cancer at St Luke's Hospital. The Ascension makes a donation to St Luke's Hospital in the Frakes family name.

Elizabeth Francis Frakes born to Jonathan Frakes & Genie Francis.

2000

November 11, 2000 - Ten Year Anniversary - Celebratory dinner held at the Candlelight Inn in Allentown.

2001

January 1, 2001 - The official start of the 21st Century/Third Millenium.

2002

June 15, 2002 - Ascension hosts the 2002 Region 7 Picnic @ Beltzville

James R Frakes, father of Jonathan Frakes dies.

2003

August 9, 2003 - Ascension hosts the 2003 Region 7 Picnic @ Beltzville - Commanding Officer Jim Pugliese promoted to rank of "FleetCaptain".

2004

August 28, 2004 - Ascension hosts the 2004 Region 7 Picnic @ Beltzville

2005

August 21, 2005 - Ascension hosts the 2005 Region 7 Picnic @ Beltzville - Jeff Roberts awarded a Certificate of Appreciation from the American Legion.

November 11, 2005 - Fifteenth Year Anniversary - Celebratory dinner held at the Candlelight Inn in Allentown. First Officer & CMO Bob Kurtz promoted to rank of "Captain".

December 10, 2005 - Ascension co-hosts the 2005 Region 7 Holiday Party with the Sovereign and the Adamant - Mardi Gras theme to benefit the victims of hurricane Katrina.
